Helite Airbag Safety Vests

The Helite Airbag Safety Vest – Generation 2 – is the top equestrian safety vest for horse riders today. Here at Solea Equestrian, we are proud to offer the Helite Airbag Safety Vest Generation 2 for horse riders. Both casual horse riders or competitive horse riders would benefit Helite’s 2nd Generation Safety Vests. The comfort, style, and safety are hard to match among other brands.

While equestrian horse riders have options for their safety vests, the Helite Airbag Safety Vest Generation 2 is in a league of its own.

Helite has been a proven manufacturer of equestrian safety vests that are used all over the world. Helite has prided itself on being the top equestrian inflatable safety vest manufacturer and is known by riders and trainers alike.

While the most popular vest is the Helite Zip’N2, Helite still produces the first generation vests, commonly known as the Helite Zip’N1 Equestrian Safety Vest. Both are suitable for causal horse riders to competitive athletes.

The Helite Airbag Equestrian Safety Vests

One of the main advantages of the Helite Airbag Safety Vest is its design and construction. Its versatility and maneuverability allow the rider to move freely without interruption or discomfort.

The Helite safety vest has been noted to be slightly faster in filling the vests with CO2 gas. This extra speed is noted to make all the difference by creating a potentially life-saving cushion between the rider and the ground.

The fast dispersion into the inner chambers of the vest that create a protective cushion around the most vulnerable parts of the body is the most effective way to protect horse riders from falls. This unique protective mechanism is another excellent reason why every horse rider should consider getting their own Helite Airbag Safety Vest.

How The Helite Airbag Works

While there are other inflatable vests on the market, the Helite Zip’N 2 vest has captured the attention of the equestrian world because of its comfort, design, and efficacy.

The Helite Airbag Safety Vest fits like other safety vests. It contains one CO2 cartridge. The cartridge connects to a dispersion system triggered by the release of a lanyard attached to a horse saddle. Once the lanyard is separated, the CO2 is released and fills the tubing system within a fraction of a second.

This dispersion of air creates a significant and protective cushion. The vest’s cushion protects the neck, spine, back, hips, thorax, and pelvis.

How Do Horse Riders Like the Feel of the Safety Vest?

Our customers love how the Helite Airbag Safety Vest feels. Unlike other equestrian safety vests, the Helite vest fits nicely on most riders. The design, material, and safety vest cut all make the vest look slim and trim. Customers have also noted that the Helite vest is not as bulky or heavy as other inflatable equestrian safety vests. This makes riding enjoyable and easy to manage.

No doubt, the riders will have a full range of motion while wearing their safety vest.

Additionally, many customers have noted that the material used – the mesh around the warmer parts of the body allows for heat to escape. This is an essential feature with the Helite Airbag Safety Vest.

Can I order a Helite Airbag Safety Vest through Solea Equestrian?

Yes! We remain a top U.S. retailer for Helite Safety Vests. You can place your order online, visit us at one of the shows we are at, or call us to order. We don’t shy away from questions regarding our vest or any other products we sell. If you have a question about the vest – such as sizing or safety – give us a call. We are available for your questions.

When you do, place your order for the Helite Safety Vest. You will receive a ready-to-use vest that comes with one CO2 cartridge. This cartridge may require an attachment, so be sure to check! Also, we recommend that you purchase at least two or three CO2 canisters in the case of accidental triggering when getting off your horse (it happens more frequently than you realize!).

You should be aware the different size vests may require different size CO2 cartridges. This makes sense as a CO2 cartridge for a small vest won’t be enough for the XL vests.

Additionally, many recommend that you try out the inflation or trigger the vest to understand how the process works. This will help you to understand which parts of your body the vest covers.
